The Great Wall of China is one of the 7 wonders of the world. The great wall of china is built by a series of fortifications containing stone, brick, wood, etc. The Great Wall of China was built along the northern border of China which is used to protect their empire.

They built several walls to protect the empire and later joined their walls and made it longer stronger, and it looked and referred to as the Great Wall of China.

It was built between 220 to 206 BC by the 1st emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. Then the Great Wall of China was rebuilt, maintained, enhanced, and reconstructed by the Ming dynasty.

Purpose of the Great Wall

The purposes of the Great Wall of China are mainly for border control and goods transportation. The great wall is stretched from Shanhaigun in the east to Lop lake which is in the west.

This is made of a six thousand two hundred and fifty-nine-kilometre section of wall. We all know that the Chinese are already well in their techniques in constructing their building. For building the wall it was tough to get materials from outside it was so tough for them for transporting, so they used the materials which they got from their locals.

Additional Construction

In 2009 an additional 290 km was detected, which was not found until 2009 it was built by the Ming dynasty.

Tourism

Tourist people visit China because of one and only reason the Great Wall of China.

The wall which we are seeing is mainly built by the Ming dynasty only. The true fact of the Great Wall of China is that it was built during spring and autumn.
